Butcher Brown is a four piece instrumental band from Richmond, Virginia made up of Multi Instrumentalist and Producer/Engineer, DJ Harrison, bassist Andrew Randazzo, Keith Askey on guitar and Corey Fonville on drums. Butcher Brown as individuals have recorded with Natalie Prass and Nicholas Payton; won a Grammy with Kendrick Lamar, and recorded and toured with Christian Scott.

GrownFolk is Butcher Brown’s take on an instrumental beat tape tracked live and transferred to quarter inch tape. Recording to tape warms the music and provides the ability to adjust pitch organically. This nostalgic blend of production techniques, combined with pure head nod grooves equals GrownFolk.
